The milestone 10th single "Biology" was chosen as the song to launch their third album "Chemistry". It received critical acclaim and positive reviews across the board. This single stormed into the chart at #4, their 10th Top 10 single in a row. To their credit, the girls managed to outsell Will Young's long awaited single "Switch It On", which ended up only reaching #5, his lowest peaking single up to this point. Girls Aloud also outsold 2005�s Children In Need single by Liberty X - "A Night To Remember" reached #6. "Biology" sold just fewer than 26,000 copies in its first week and went on to sell over 100,000 copies in total, making it the most successful release from the "Chemistry" album by a significant amount. It also peaked at #1 on the iTunes Main Download chart. The single was released in Australia in early 2006, reaching #26 on their charts. |
