After a highly successful Greatest Hits album and tour, you would be forgiven for thinking a band might want to call it a day, or at the very least have an extended break.  But not Girls Aloud!  Less than two months after the Greatest Hits Tour ended, they announced they would be releasing the single "Sexy! No No No."

The first single from the forthcoming album 'Tangled Up', 'Sexy! No No No' was released to download on 31st August 2007, and after just two days on sale, entered the charts at #64. Following the release of the CD formats on 3rd September, the single jumped 59 places to #5 to give the girls their 16th consecutive Top 10 single. The Guinness Book of Records recognised this remarkable feat by printing this fact in their 2007 edition.

'Sexy! No No No' had been on course to enter at #4, but in the end they were narrowly beaten to this position by James Blunt, with his single '1973'. The Top 3 this week consisted of Sean Kingston at #01, Plain White T's at #2 and Kanye West at #3, with the singles 'Beautiful Girls', 'Hey There Delilah' and 'Stronger' respectively.

'Sexy! No No No' has sold over 95,000 copies in total to date, of which 21,000 was sold in its first week of full release.
